Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. This was recorded in a small, underground brick wine cellar during a wine-tasting event in europe. While the language spoken in the clip is slovak, it's impossible to pick out any indivdiual conversations, so this could be used as background noise in any project. Fireball explosion with natural rolling decay and delayed single reflection. The pyrotechnic explosion took place in the forest at el tejon ranch in late march 2013 during a film shoot. The sound was recorded using a schoeps mk41 supercardioid condenser microphone running into a sound devices 442/722 mixer/recorder combo. This was in our backyard and i have no idea why the birds were doing this. I couldn't see them in the thick bushes and i couldn't tell how many there were. Recorded this on an afternoon in the fall of 2014 at a buddhist monastery in a small coastal town outside bangkok, derived from video taken by a samsung galaxy s3. At prayer time, the monks assemble and one monk leads with a microphone. This recording reflects the somewhat tinny eq of that sound system, and also includes some dimly-heard background noise from the outside environment (e. G. , passing vehicles).

This morning i woke up to the sound of a city crew jackhammering concrete just outside my window. I grabbed my h2 and recorded for a while. This file is an edit of the full recording. It contains two bursts of jackhammering, one fairly short and one longer. The background noise is the sound of the air compressor.
